ELO Mandatory Informational Meeting/Open House
Open House is for families interested in joining ELO for the 2023-2024 school year. You must be a current member of CHEC in order to register and attend this meeting. The Mandatory Informational Meeting must be attended in order for families to register for the following year. Attandence of the meeting does not guarantee a spot for the 23-24 school year however. More information will be given during the meeting.
Please sign up EACH child attending the Open House for the grade they are currently in, not the grade they will be in next school year. Please note, your OLDEST child needs to be entering Kindergarten and age 5 by September 2023 (no exceptions) in the 2022-2023 school year. Please do NOT sign up adults attending.
Each child will be in their own grade level/class for the duration of the class and will participate in that day's activities. Please note for the 6th grade -High School classes, they will be assigned a class by an ELO Coordinator. Please bring a snack and a water bottle as each child will have a snack/break time with their classes.
If you have a child that requires diapers or special eating utensils, please make sure you have all necessary items. It may not hurt to include an extra pair of clothes for your children. If your child has allergies or special medical needs, please let an ELO Coordinator know so we can pass that information on to the teachers of the day.
Participating adults may shadow in each child's room for most of the morning. The mandatory meeting will be from 10-11:30 am in the sactuary of NCC and must be attended by the participating adult of the day. The ELO day starts at 8:25 am and ends at 12:30 pm. You may stay until the end of the ELO day or leave when the Mandatory Meeting is concluded.
